Types of Blood Cancer
The production and function of blood cells are affected by blood cancer. Blood is produced in the marrow, where most of these cancers originate. Three types of blood cells that mature and develop from marrow stem cells are red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
The uncontrolled increase of an abnormal type of blood cell disrupts the normal blood cell development process in most blood cancers. The functions of the blood, such as fighting away infections and prevention of serious air extraction, are restricted by these abnormal cells of the blood cells (o).
Three Main Types of Blood Cancer
Blood cancer can be divided into three common types:
Leukemia
Lymphoma
Myeloma
A factor named lymphocyte is a type of white blood cell that fights infections. The lymphocytes that are the abnormal converted lymphoma cells, which multiply and surround in both lymph nodes and other tissues. Gradually, the immune system is worsened by these cancer cells.

Leukemia
The rapid production of abnormal white blood cells causes a type of leukemia called cancer, which is found in the blood and marrow. Leukemia can be acute or chronic. Immediate treatment is required for chronic leukemia, which progresses more slowly than acute leukemia.

Many patients with acute leukemia have responded successfully to treatments. In chronic leukemia, cells tend to divide slowly due to better treatment with targeted therapies. Participation in a clinical trial provides access to experimental therapies for some patients, so it is always good to talk to the doctor and find out whether to join a clinical trial for you or not right.
Leukemia is classified as lymphocytic or myelogenous. Lymphocytic leukemia means the abnormal increase of the cell that becomes the lymphocytes in the marrow, which are a type of white blood cell that plays a role in the immune system. The abnormal increase in the cell that occurs in the marrow that later ripens in white blood cells is called myelogenous leukemia.
The four major classifications of leukemia are:
Acute myeloid leukemia
Chronic myelogenous leukemia
Acute lymphocytic leukemia
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia
Leukemia can occur in adults and children. The symptoms of leukemia can vary depending on your type and scenario, and include headaches, enlarged liver and spleen, fever, molds, night sweats and other flu-like symptoms, bone pain, weight loss, pallor, red spots in the skin, swollen tonsils of the pin-head, swollen or bleeding, gums, weakness, and fatigue.
Lymphoma
Lymphoma affects the lymphatic system and results in excessive fluid withdrawal from the body and the production of immune cells. The two categories of lymphomas are lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of Hodgkin. Hodgkin's lymphoma is found in people with lymphoma that is about 12%. Once considered fatal, it has now been transformed into curable graces from a condition to discovery research.

The majority of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas are lymphocytes of the B lymphocyte, which are capable of rapid growth (high grade) or slow (low quality). Non-Hodgkin lymphoma of Lymphocyte B are of 14 types. The Still Is is the lymphocytes of the T lymphocyte that are named after a different white blood cell, or lymphocyte.

Symptoms of lymphoma include fever, low weight, difficulty in breathing or chest pain, rash, itchy skin, weakness and fatigue, softening, and swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, or the ridge of encounter.
Myeloma
Cancer of plasma cells is myeloma. Disease and infection-fighting antibodies are produced in the body by white blood cells known as plasma cells. The normal production and function of red and white blood cells are affected by the multiplication of myeloma cells. Kidney damage can be caused by an abnormally high amount of these dysfunctional antibodies in the bloodstream.
Myeloma cells are known to produce a substance capable of causing bone destruction, resulting in fracture or pain. The soft tissues inside the bones are the marrow, where the myeloma cells are produced. In the body, myeloma cells travel through the bloodstream and sometimes get encircled in other bones. It is usually referred to as multiple myeloma, because it frequently occurs in many places in the bone marrow.
Symptoms and signs of myeloma are anemia (reduced red blood cell count), kidney damage (kidney failure), hypercalcemia of low weight (excessive calcium in the blood), susceptibility to infection, osteoporosis, bone pain, swelling or bone fracture, and high protein levels in the blood and / or urine. Myeloma occurs more frequently in men who are exposed to radiation, work in oil-related industries, are over the age of 50, and are obese.
The following are the options available to treat myeloma: chemotherapy, immunomodulators (drugs that target specific areas of the immune system), and drugs to invite anemia, to radiation therapy, to stem cell transplantation, and to participation in a trial clinic, which provides access to experimental therapies for some patients. It is good to talk to the doctor and find out if clinical judgment is the right option to follow when diagnosed with myeloma.
